As you are reading this one more beauty counter in the UK has buckled under the weight of yet another "all natural beauty range". So what makes this skincare range so different? The answer is easy - simplicity! No chemicals, no preservatives, no artificial ingredients of any kind. Each product is a deceptively simple blend of pure, plant based ingredients that are naturally power packed to create a wonderfully soothing treatment. My love of natural remedies and my experience as a facialist combine to create something very special indeed. Add to that my love of all things natural and you get a range that is just that little bit unique and truly bespoke.
My Beauty Mantra
I believe that skincare should be simple, effective and enjoyable to use. I don't believe in silly pseudo scientific goobledegook (trying saying that after two martinis!) or ridiculous claims about moisurizers that give the same results as a shot or two of Botox! But I do believe that pure and natural ingredients can help skin soothe and renew itself and bring back your glorious, natural glow.
Handmade With Love
The reason I can create this totally unique and utterly natural skincare range is simply because each and every product is handmade to order. Every product in my range is handmade by me with great love & care. I create each product to order to ensure purity and effectiveness. I compose the recipes, blend and even package each lotion & potion to ensure that it is the best product possible (and it allows me to give free reign to my inner control freak!).
My Story
I suffered for many years with extra sensitive and highly reactive skin. Unless you have truly experienced the nightmare of temperamental skin that breaks out at the mere whisper of an important event, you really cannot even begin to comprehend the effect it has on your life. Acne breakouts combined with dry skin; not a great look!
As a facialist I had access to a myriad of skincare ranges, insider tips and alternative therapies. I tried each and every one of them but nothing seemed to work. Down and truly disheartened I decided to seek advice from my GP. Ooops, wrong idea! After a speedy diagnosis without the Dr even getting close to my skin (in fact she never got out of her chair!), I was swiftly informed I had Rosacea and given a prescription for a wheelbarrow full of Oxytetracycline. I have worked with many clients over the years that were suffering from Rosacea and the breakouts that I was experiencing at that time simply did not resemble it at all. I knew I didn't have Rosacea, so I finally decided enough was enough and the time had come to take action and find an effective, natural solution to my skincare woes.

I studied, searched, researched and then searched again just to be sure! But despite all this the same question always remained with me;
Why Does Skincare Have To Be So Complicated?
Simplify, simplify; urged Thoreau (and quite right too!). From time consuming skincare routines to lengthy ingredient listings, I really did feel that it was all so very, very unnecessary. Then I set myself a goal to create a simple skincare range that was entirely natural - no chemicals, no artificial ingredients, just simple, gentle products to heal and soothe the skin.
Ingredients That Work
All my products are entirely natural. There are a wonderful array of natural ingredients that are available to all of us, each of them rich in nutrients and powerful skin healers. The only ingredients I use are the purest of plant extracts, my own infused oils, natural clays & beeswax (locally sourced of course!). With this marvellous range of healing botanicals I have been able to create a product range that is both gentle and nourishing. My range is an extension of my own personal values so I always take great care to ensure that my ingredients are not only of the highest quality but that they are always ethically and sustainably sourced.

Safe Use Of Essential Oils
I do get rather upset when I see the proliferation of aromatherapy products that are specifically targeted towards pregnant women or children. Essential oils are a wonderful addition to any skincare regime, but they are powerful. With this in mind I always ensure that any addition of essential oil is clearly labelled and the amount used is well within safe limits. I would advise that if you are pregnant do let me know, then I can work on a blend especially for you that is perfectly safe to use.
Product Testing & Safety
Using only the purest and most gentle of ingredients ensures a soothing and healing product. But just to be sure all my products have been thoroughly tested on willing family and friends. All the ingredients I use are 100% natural and they have never been tested on animals.
